Frequently asked questions

On the side rail of each of our ladders there is an adhesive, weather-resistant label that shows all technical data and relevant pictograms, as stipulated in the applicable standards.

It's easy, you can do it in the Contacts section of the website. This is the link: www.gierrescale.com/en/contact-us. Select Conformity Certificate from the menu, fill the form in and you will get the document via email.

Absolutely not! When a step breaks, the ladder must be replaced. Ehy, how old is your ladder?

No, the CE mark does not apply to ladders or scaffolding as these products do not fall within the scope of the so called "Direttiva Macchine".

Of course, damaged feet can be replaced on all Gierre ladders. Either send an email to info@gierrescale.com with a photo of your ladder (including label), or search for your ladder on our site and scroll down the page to related products.

The maximum working height is calculated considering the maximum height at which you can climb the ladder with platform, and adding the conventional figure of 2 meters, which corresponds to a man of medium height with his arm raised in working attitude. Clearly this figure varies with the variation of the number of steps of the ladder.

GIERRE pays close attention to the safety of the products on the market and for this reason guarantees spare parts on most ladders up to 10 years from manufacture date. After 10 years, it is no longer possible to make replacements, a new purchase must be considered, to ensure the safety of the user.
